We are seeking a skilled and experienced System Architect to join our team. As a System Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing scalable and secure Linux cluster solutions for our customers.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and autonomous professional to work on customer projects, solve complex engineering challenges, and provide in-depth technical support and assistance.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provisioning, Maintaining, Configuring, and Upgrading Linux Server Systems: Ensure seamless operation of Linux server systems and/or cloud-managed services and applications.
  • Debugging and Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with Linux server systems and/or cloud systems, providing expert-level technical support and assistance.
  • Solving Complex Issues: Collaborate with software suppliers to resolve specialized issues and eliminate malfunctions.
  • Analyzing Monitoring Events: Identify performance bottlenecks and implement measures to optimize operations.
  • Creating Technical Documentation: Develop comprehensive technical documentation from scratch.
  • Collaboration with Customers: Coordinate collaboration with customers and participate in meetings.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least two years of experience as a system engineer in a Linux-centric environment.
  • Tech Expertise: In-depth knowledge of current open-source technologies, Cloud and DevOps customer journeys, and enterprise IT requirements.
  • Computer Science Fundamentals: Strong working knowledge of compilers, linkers, interpreters, lower 4 OSI layers / TCP/IP stack.
  • Error Handling: Ability to write code that includes basic error handling routines such as catching and displaying error messages or logging errors for further analysis.
  • Automation Tools: Ability to fix existing automations and write new ones that execute simple changes (e.g., account deletion) and are triggered by the system.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Product Certifications: Experience with GitLab, HashiCorp, RedHat and/or SUSE products.
  • Cloud Certifications: AWS, Azure and/or GCP certifications.
