Job Overview

At Ausco Modular, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to lead our project delivery team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned construction leader to take ownership of project outcomes, drive accountability, and foster a high-performance culture.

As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing a small team of Project Managers, Site Supervisors, and Administrators. You will drive performance across the team by setting clear expectations and monitoring delivery against scope, budget, and schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the project delivery team to ensure consistent, high-quality project delivery.
  • Drive accountability and performance across the team by setting clear expectations and monitoring delivery against scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Foster a high-performance culture where people are empowered, supported, and outcomes-focused.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements, including NCC and HSE.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align operational delivery with business strategy.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Trade and tertiary qualifications in Construction or related discipline including a Commercial Builder's Licence (or willingness and ability to obtain).
  • A significant amount of experience and a proven track record in construction leadership roles, ideally overseeing multiple projects and teams comprised of both direct staff and subcontractors.
  • Experience in contracts administration and negotiations with both industry developed and Australian standards conditions.
  • Strong people leadership skills, you know how to influence, motivate and hold others accountable.
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to balance operational detail with big-picture goals.
