About The RoleOur Family Preservation Program collaborates with families expecting a child or with children under 18 years of age to strengthen family relationships so children can live at home safely, free from abuse and neglect, and enjoy the best possible start to life.
- We engage and support families through regular in-home services.
- Assessing initial family strengths and needs is key. Case plans are developed that build on resilience enabling strong, positive relationships.
- Evidence-informed practices are used while partnering with other services to support the family's next chapter.
- SUPPORT tailored to individual family needs using a strengths-based approach ensures services fit perfectly.
To succeed as a Family Preservation Case Manager you will have:
- A relevant qualification (diploma or degree).
- Experience assessing child protection risk.
- A current driver's license.
- A holistic, strengths-based approach to lasting change.
- The ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds including the local Aboriginal community.
- Motivation, professional accountability, integrity, and a belief that every parent has potential.
