As a Service Technician Specialist, you will provide expert technical support and coordination of technical activities to the Service Department at a national level focused on product portfolio. This role primarily supports customers through installation, servicing, and breakdown support.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical assistance for installation, breakdown, and servicing of products
- Support equipment with travel required to resolve emergency situations
- Visit customer sites to review production requirements and make recommendations on stocking and servicing needs
- Assist in commissioning complex installations as requested
- Liaise with technical teams to resolve issues and arrange factory visits
- Recommend parts to be kept in stock and assist in resolving quality issues
- Provide remote technical support and training programs
- Contribute to criteria for training programs and provide technical input on retrofits and upgrades
- 7-10 years of experience with the product portfolio
- Strong understanding of processes and systems
- Reliable work ethic and strong time management skills
- Ability to think critically and possess problem-solving attributes
- Previous exposure to ERP systems such as SAP and Microsoft Office preferred
- Mid-Senior level with a focus on customer satisfaction
