Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Professional

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Brisbane Private Hospital on a permanent part-time basis.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation and recovery of our patients, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, Assess, Implement and Evaluate Clinical Care: You will work closely with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
- Provide Education and Support: You will educate and support patients and their carers/families on health recovery, rehabilitation, discharge plans, or end-of-life needs, promoting independence and empowerment.
- Commit to Ongoing Learning and Professional Development: You will maintain an ongoing learning and professional development portfolio to ensure case mix requirements are supported and registration requirements are met.
- Current Registration: You must be currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
- Minimum 1 Year Experience: You must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in Occupational Therapy.
- Tertiary Qualification: You must hold a tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Skills and Knowledge: You must possess skills, knowledge, and clinical reasoning in occupational therapy, with experience and demonstrated competency in areas such as geriatrics, general medical, post-general surgical, and neurological.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: You must have excellent time management, communication, and organization skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
