Job Summary

Pipeline Technics is seeking an experienced Drainer to join our team. As a Drainer, you will be responsible for laying pipes for storm and sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Pipe Installation: Align and position pipes to prepare them for welding or sealing.
  2. Quality Control: Check slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers.
  3. Joint Sealing: Connect pipe pieces and seal joints, using welding equipment, cement, or glue.
  4. Trenching: Dig trenches to desired or required depths, by hand or using trenching tools.
  5. Grading and Leveling: Grade and level trench bases, using tamping machines and hand tools.
  6. System Installation: Install and repair below ground water drainage systems, including sanitary and storm water sewer structures and pipe systems.
  7. Route Planning: Lay out pipe routes, following written instructions or blueprints, and coordinating layouts with supervisors.
Requirements
  1. Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
  2. Skills: Ability to work within strict deadlines and project scopes, great problem-solving skills, and ability to make decisions quickly.
  3. Interpersonal Skills: Good interpersonal skills and ability to give and take constructive criticism.
  4. License: Current WA Driver's Licence.
Benefits

Pipeline Technics offers a remuneration package between $73,150 - $100,000 for this full-time position. An immediate start is available.
