Job Title: Assembler

About the Role:

This position involves performing mechanical and electro assembly work to technical drawings using basic hand tools and measuring equipment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Mechanical assembly of parts to drawing specifications and/or CMMs.
  • Electro/mechanical assembly, fan/motors, and heaters to drawing specifications and/or CMMs.
  • Use of basic hand tools and measuring equipment, including torque drivers, crimping tools, micrometers, and verniers.
  • Soldering of small components.
  • Brazing.
  • Conducting mechanical and electrical tests as defined in process control documents.
  • Adhering to all manufacturing procedures.
  • Completing relevant documentation.
  • Using personal protective equipment (PPE) provided.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and/or CMMs and SOPs.
  • Capacity to work from SOPs alongside technical drawings.
  • Reading, writing, and understanding English language skills.
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools and equipment.
  • Soldering skills on small components.
  • Proficiency in operating machines, lathes, drills, etc.
  • Brazing skills desirable.
  • Previous experience in a production environment assembling electro/mechanical products.
  • Experience in assembling small components, model kits, or other small component assemblies.
  • Teamwork and communication skills.
  • Methodical/logical approach.
  • Effective time management.
