Lead SAP Ariba Architect

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the implementation and support of SAP Ariba solutions. This role will be pivotal in designing and implementing Ariba cloud solutions aligned with enterprise procurement strategy.

The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of procurement transformation, strong stakeholder management, and technical leadership in global SAP deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation and support of SAP Ariba modules
  • Design and deliver scalable SAP Ariba solutions integrated with SAP ECC/S/4HANA and external systems
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, procurement leads, and IT teams to gather requirements and define process enhancements
  • Drive digital procurement transformation initiatives and align Ariba capabilities with business objectives
  • Define and enforce Ariba best practices, governance, and integration architecture
  • Create detailed functional specifications for RICEFW objects and guide ABAP/Integration developers
  • Provide thought leadership on compliance, risk management, and supplier collaboration through Ariba
  • Manage vendor relationships, Ariba support tickets, and coordination with SAP Ariba Cloud Operations team
  • Develop training materials and conduct end-user and super-user training sessions
  • Mentor junior consultants and support cross-functional project teams
  • Track and report KPIs, project milestones, and issue resolution

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP Ariba implementation and support
  • At least 2–3 full lifecycle implementations in a Lead or Architect role
  • Strong hands-on experience in Ariba On-Demand modules, with end-to-end integration to SAP S/4HANA or ECC
  • Proven expertise in S2P/P2P transformation and process design in a global environment
  • In-depth knowledge of Ariba integration methods including CIG (Cloud Integration Gateway) and middleware tools (SAP PI/PO, Dell Boomi, MuleSoft)
  • Sound understanding of procurement policies, compliance, indirect and direct procurement workflows
  • Strong understanding of master data governance in relation to vendor, contract, and purchasing data
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills
