About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Tax Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and lodging returns across individuals, businesses, corporates, and trusts.

You will deal with accounts and journalling across tax matters, including corporate, income tax, GST, FBT, payroll tax, withholding tax, stamp duty, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and lodge returns for various entities
  • Deal with accounts and journalling across tax matters
  • Keep and reconcile working papers for client matters
  • Provide supporting memoranda
  • Research and apply ATO rules
  • Communicate directly with clients
What We Are Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience in Australia as a public practice tax accountant
  • A strong desire to learn and develop
  • Ambition to grow your income
  • Firm grasp of Australian tax fundamentals and accounting practices
  • Confidence with Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks and Microsoft Office
