Cloud Security Operations Specialist

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement comprehensive workflows for handling security events, ensuring timely and effective response procedures. You will investigate security events and incidents within cloud environments, utilizing advanced tools and techniques to identify threats and vulnerabilities.

Azure security operations requires a solid understanding of regulatory compliance requirements, particularly in highly regulated industries. The ideal candidate should have experience in designing and implementing workflows for security event investigation and response, as well as providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate security events and incidents within cloud environments.
  • Design and implement comprehensive workflows for handling security events.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine security policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations, with a focus on Azure.
  • Proven expertise in investigating security events and incidents within cloud environments.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Experience in designing and implementing workflows for security event investigation and response.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
