Remote Dental Therapist Opportunity

This is a locum-based role offering short-term placements in remote NT clinics, where you will work collaboratively with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, and support staff to deliver culturally safe, high-quality care.

  • The role offers fully paid locum placements ranging from 3 to 12 weeks, with travel and accommodation covered.
  • Cultural orientation and ongoing support are provided to help you transition into remote healthcare.
  • You will also have access to free CPD-accredited eLearning with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM).

Requirements:

  • Current Oral Health Scheduled Substance Treatment Protocol (SSTP) certificate within the past two years.
  • Current NT Radiation License or application for NT Radiation License.
  • A minimum of two years' post-graduate clinical experience as a dental therapist.
  • A minimum of 250 hours of relevant full-time clinical experience working as a dental therapist within the past 12 months.
  • Current BLS/CPR Certificate.
