About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team at Pitcher Partners. As a key member of our Business Services team, you will be responsible for providing expert tax advice to our clients, guiding them through complex tax matters, and developing strategic plans to achieve their business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced technical analysis to offer practical and commercially viable advice on a wide range of tax matters.
  • Investigate, evaluate, and interpret tax legislation, offering insights and recommendations to our clients.
  • Assist in implementing strategies for key tax planning priorities, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with business goals.
  • Develop successful client relationships and generate business development opportunities.
  • Support the delivery of technical training and professional development, mentoring and developing junior team members.
  • Lead and oversee tax projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in accounting, law, or a related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in business services, tax consulting, or equivalent.
  • An inquisitive and analytical mindset with a passion for delving into complex issues and finding innovative solutions to challenging tax problems.
  • Strong time management to handle competing priorities and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
  • Team-oriented approach, thriving in a collaborative environment where you can actively support your colleagues.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, conveying complex concepts clearly and persuasively to clients and peers.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a meticulous approach to work ensuring accuracy in analysis and recommendations.
