Hospital Security Support Specialist

This role offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team at Gunnedah Hospital. As a Health and Security Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment, supporting patients, and ensuring cleanliness throughout the hospital.
Main Responsibilities- Patrol hospital grounds, respond to alarms, control access, and provide excellent customer service while upholding security protocols.
- Support patients by assisting with transfers, lifting, and moving them safely and respectfully, adhering to established patient care standards.
- Maintain cleanliness by keeping hospital rooms spotless and hygienic, adhering to infection control standards and promoting a healthy environment.
- Hold a Class 1A Security Licence and First Aid Certificate to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Be highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and optimize performance.
- Exhibit cultural awareness, respect, and professionalism in all interactions, fostering a positive work environment.
- Demonstrate reliability and teamwork skills as a valuable member of the hospital team.
