Job Title:

Garden and Maintenance Supervisor - Leadership Role

About the Role:

The successful candidate will lead our Garden and Maintenance team in Footscray, overseeing horticultural activities, managing gardens and related grounds, and ensuring safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a high-performing team of gardeners and maintenance staff
  • Develop and implement plans for garden and maintenance activities
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
  • Maintain relationships with external contractors and service providers
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve commercial and social enterprise objectives

Requirements:

  • Relevant horticultural qualification or equivalent experience
  • Current driver's license
  • First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check

Desirable Skills:

  • Previous experience in property maintenance and/or horticultural activity
  • Experience using power tools or equipment relevant to property maintenance
  • Previous garden maintenance or grounds work experience
