About Our Graduate Program

You will collaborate with experienced professionals and rotate through our corporate offices, bauxite mines, and alumina refineries in the Peel and Upper Southwest regions. This comprehensive training program aims to equip you with hands-on experience and expertise in a variety of areas including chemical processes, laboratory safety management, and investigative projects.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Learning the intricacies of the Bayer process, one of the industry's most complicated chemical processes.
  • Being mentored by industry experts as you have access to our global technical centre of excellence based on site.
  • Developing and implementing chemical methods and instrumental analytical techniques.
  • Taking an active role in laboratory safety management.
  • Working collaboratively on laboratory and refinery based investigative and improvement projects.
  • Utilising your understanding of chemical processes to identify process improvement opportunities.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong communication and well-developed people skills. You should think analytically and be open-minded with a creative and collaborative approach to problem-solving. If you are on the path to graduate or have recently completed tertiary qualifications in Chemistry or a related discipline, we want to hear from you.
