Occupational Therapist Role

We are seeking an experienced occupational therapist to join our team in Mount Isa, Queensland. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work with clients to develop tailored treatment plans and provide holistic care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct functional assessments and develop treatment plans that cater to the individual needs of clients.
  • Provide education and guidance to families, carers, teachers, and employers on how to support clients' participation in daily life and community activities.
  • Recommend and implement environmental modifications and assistive technology to enhance clients' independence and quality of life.
Qualifications & Experience:

Essential Requirements:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized university.
  • Registration (or eligibility) with the relevant professional body.
  • Current, unrestricted driver's license for manual vehicles.

Desirable:

  • Experience working in rural or remote communities.
  • Ability to travel by road and/or small planes to outreach communities.
