Project Security Officer Role

The Project Security Officer is responsible for managing and delivering project security requirements on upcoming projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary security liaison, maintaining daily communication with key stakeholders including Regional Security Managers, Data Centre Security Managers, client representatives, certifying authorities, and other relevant personnel.
  • Provide comprehensive security oversight throughout the construction phase, ensuring delivery of secure facilities through regular attendance at security assurance Hold and Witness Point inspections.
  • Compile security assurance reports for submission to the AWS Security Assurance Team.
  • Document and track security-related issues and incidents.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with project security requirements, identifying potential security risks and implementing mitigation strategies throughout the construction phase.
  • Facilitate meetings with clients, resolve issues, and report on matters relating to security compliance.
  • Demonstrate high-level attention to detail and a meticulous approach to task execution.
