About the role:

This position involves partnering with a key government client to develop cyber uplift action plans, high-level designs, interim and end-state cyber management models, and capability development roadmaps to mitigate internal and external threats.

This role plays a pivotal part in driving security strategy with clients, enhancing, and improving the delivery of services across applications and infrastructure platforms.

Our practice specializes in six core areas, each designed to enhance our clients' cybersecurity posture and resilience. Services range from advisory and assurance to technical consulting, offering comprehensive coverage for all client cybersecurity needs.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience in IT solution architecture in large enterprise environments
  • Demonstrated expertise in endpoint cyber protection designs
  • Previous experience assessing business requirements, network and infrastructure design while considering enterprise strategy and industry best practices
  • Demonstrated leadership in cybersecurity architecture, especially for E8 ISM controls maturity uplift projects, with a track record of mentoring junior architects
  • Experience developing, presenting, and selling architecture presales of services into existing clients
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and engagement with business units, security groups, and ICT service providers on complex architectural and project delivery issues
  • Subject matter expertise in emerging cyber technologies and risk-based threat assessment
  • Australian citizenship with minimum Baseline clearance

This role is based in any capital city within Australia, offering a hybrid way of working with preference for 2/3 days on client site and remaining remote workdays.

The estimated annual salary for this position is AU$150,000 - AU$180,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
