Key responsibilities include:

  1. Providing high-quality emergency care to undifferentiated adult and paediatric patients.
  2. Supervising, mentoring, and teaching junior staff members.
  3. Participating in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives.
  4. Engaging in multidisciplinary teamwork to achieve positive change.

Requirements include:

  1. Current general registration with AHPRA and at least three years post-graduate experience in Emergency Medicine.
  2. High-level skills in clinical care, supervision, mentoring, and teaching.
  3. Ideal candidates will have completed or be working towards specialist fellowship in Emergency Medicine.
  4. Demonstrated competence in managing undifferentiated adult and paediatric emergencies.
  5. Strong interpersonal communication and team skills for effective collaboration within the healthcare organisation and wider community.
