Dispensary Technician Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Dispensary Technician to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the dispensary, managing stock ordering, unpacking, and dispensary organisation, providing trusted advice on OTC medicines and health needs, delivering outstanding customer service across the dispensary and front of shop, and supporting Webster packing and other dispensary tasks as needed.

  • Assist in the dispensary, ensuring smooth operations with the pharmacist.
  • Manage stock ordering, unpacking, and dispensary organisation, maintaining a tidy and efficient environment.
  • Provide expert advice on over-the-counter medicines and health needs, recommending products and services to customers.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, responding to queries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Support the pharmacy team with Webster packing and other tasks as required.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous pharmacy experience and product knowledge (S2/S3 meds an advantage).
  • Strong customer service skills and a people-first approach.
  • Confidence with computer systems and attention to detail.
  • Reliability, adaptability, and a positive team spirit.
  • Warm, approachable communication and a caring nature.
  • Certificate III in Community Pharmacy and/or Dispensary Technician qualifications advantageous.
