Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to assist our Canberra team with the end-to-end delivery of accommodation projects, including aged care, student housing, residential, and high-density developments.

This role will be best suited to someone with a few years of experience working in project management, who is looking to broaden their skill set by delivering projects across multiple sectors, including Education, Health, Industrial, Aviation, and Civic & Culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with minute taking duties and drafting reports, briefs, and other documentation for Senior Project Managers.
  • Support with scoping of works and tender processes, consultant engagement, and contractor appointment.
  • Assist with contract management and construction, providing regular updates to stakeholders and building relationships with key clients.
Candidate Profile

To be successful, you will need demonstrated experience as an Assistant Project Manager within a Consulting environment working across the Property & Buildings sector.

You will also need:

  • Qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant experience in a similar role within a consulting environment.
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to build rapport with busy stakeholders.
  • An understanding of contracts administration and management.
  • High attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset.
  • A willingness to work with team members and deliver outstanding outcomes for clients.
