Inventory Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Management Specialist to join our planning and warehousing team. This role will involve ensuring the smooth supply and flow of inventory within the supply chain, including receiving and storing goods, inventory transfers, and deliveries.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in managing inventory, with proficiency in using ERPs such as SAP. They will also possess strong planning and organisational skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Receiving and storing goods to ensure accurate inventory levels
  • Maintaining inventory accuracy through regular stocktakes and counts
  • Coordinating inventory transfers and deliveries

You will work closely with the production, planning, and warehouse operations teams to ensure seamless integration of inventory management processes.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Stock Receivals: Checking goods to ensure they meet delivery standards and are accurate to what was ordered.
  2. Dispatch and Stock Transfers: Goods are packaged correctly for the safe movement and delivery of goods both external and internal.
  3. Storing goods and accuracy: Ensuring the safe and accurate storage of inventory maintaining quality standards through batch rotation, allergen control, etc.
  4. Maintain accurate inventory records to avoid shortages and fulfilment delays.
