Job Title: Skilled Laborer
The Brinkley Water Treatment Plant Improvement Project is a challenging opportunity for skilled laborers to work on multiple tasks each day and develop various skill sets as necessary. The laborer will receive assignments from the supervisor and must be able to perform tasks without close supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and work within company safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist team with shovel work, pipework, framing, finish work, formwork, concrete work, cleanup, and any miscellaneous labor needs.
  • Frequently use various hand and power tools used in commercial construction such as air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and various other equipment and instruments.
  • Work is performed outside in all types of environmental conditions. This position performs strenuous physical activities for long periods, under varying and adverse field conditions. This position must be able to lift and/or carry up to 75 lbs., stand, walk on uneven surfaces, manually manipulate, grasp, reach out and above the shoulder, climb, kneel, bend, twist, and push/pull. May be required to work at elevated heights.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least one year of commercial/industrial construction experience.
  • Prior carpentry experience is preferred.
