Test Automation Architect

The company is seeking a skilled and experienced Automation Test Lead to spearhead test automation initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated test frameworks using Playwright, ensuring high-quality software delivery across web applications. You will lead a team of automation engineers, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and drive best practices in test automation and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright.
- Create comprehensive test plans and test cases for UI, API, and end-to-end testing.
- Lead and mentor a team of automation engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
- Collaborate with QA, development, product, and business teams to understand requirements and ensure quality.
- Experience in UI Automation Testing, preferably with Playwright.
- Ability to develop test scripts in JavaScript.
- Experience with JIRA and Jenkins.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and work effectively across the organization.
- Drive to implement programs that enhance automation coverage.
- Experience participating in Agile ceremonies.
