We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Telecommunications Field Technician.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including MATV/SMATV system installations and maintenance, Fibre Optics and Data Network installations and certifications. Our customers are mainly commercial entities and medium to large residential buildings and developments.

As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for installing and servicing TV antennas and satellite dishes, telecommunications equipment, AV equipment, fibre optic cabling, and data cabling. You will also be required to troubleshoot and fault find within telecommunications and AV systems.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Installation and service of TV antennas and satellite dishes
  • Installation and service of telecommunications equipment
  • Installation and service of AV equipment
  • Installation and termination of fibre optic cabling
  • Installation and termination of data cabling
  • Troubleshooting and fault finding within telecommunications and AV systems

**Requirements:**

  • Previous experience in a similar role would be preferred but not essential
  • A basic technical understanding and capability of performing light manual work is essential
