The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enrolled Nurse to join our Surgical Department on a casual basis. As an Enrolled Nurse, you will be responsible for providing safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients under the direction and supervision of registered nurses.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering safe and effective nursing care to individuals or groups;
- Working collaboratively with the healthcare team to support patient care needs;
- Administering medications according to state law and organizational policy;
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of three years' experience in acute surgical nursing;
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA);
- An Enrolled Nurse qualification in Monitoring and Administering IV Medications;
- Advanced clinical skills, preferably with experience in administering medications;
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet objectives and deadlines;
- Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal and communication skills;
