About the Role

The primary objective of this position is to provide high-quality podiatry services in a community setting, focusing on the North-Western suburbs between Sunshine and Brunswick. Services may be delivered in a clinic-based setting or the customer's home. You will utilize your skills to conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for foot and lower limb conditions while working within a team of allied health professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assessment and Treatment: Conduct thorough assessments and provide quality podiatry care that meets customer needs.
  2. Community Service Delivery: Demonstrate experience in delivering allied health services within a target-driven community environment.
  3. Communication and Respect: Possess strong communication skills and the capacity to maintain the personal dignity and confidentiality of all customers and their representatives, ensuring that all interactions demonstrate respect and compassion according to Baptcare's values.
  4. Customer Engagement: Ability to motivate and encourage customers to participate in their care and treatment programs, working with clinicians to achieve goals that promote independence and wellbeing.

Requirements
  • Registration and Experience: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role.
  • Work Rights and Vehicle: Applicant must hold work rights in Australia and a current Driver's Licence with a roadworthy vehicle.
  • Criminal History Check: Successful applicant will be required to undergo a National Crime Check.
