Warehouse Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Warehouse Operations Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

This includes coordinating the receipt, storage, and dispatch of secure and non-secure freight, as well as overseeing the movement of cargo and materials within the warehouse. You will also be responsible for identifying and investigating opportunities to reduce costs, streamlining processes, and improving overall efficiency.

A key part of this role is working closely with stores personnel in Defence warehouses, coordinating material transfers, and facilitating material disposals with disposal agencies. Additionally, you will perform CARDS inspections and transactions as required.

To be successful in this role, you will need strong knowledge of Defence warehouse and supply chain processes, as well as experience in freight coordination, including secure and non-secure shipments. You will also require a proven ability to identify cost-saving opportunities, facilitate material transfers, and coordinate disposals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of MILIS and CARDS inspections and transactions, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. If you have a passion for logistics and are looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we encourage you to apply.
