About the Role

Certex Lifting is seeking a highly skilled Lifting Equipment Testing Technician to join our team. As a key member of our workshop and customer site team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our lifting equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, manufacture, repair, and test new and in-service lifting, rigging, and height safety equipment.
  • Inspect, service, and install wire rope hoisting and rigging systems.
  • Install height safety equipment.
  • Perform general warehouse duties, including picking and packing of orders.
Requirements
  • A minimum of an unrestricted 'C' class license.
  • Excellent computer and literacy skills.
  • A demonstrated commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work onsite and travel to remote sites when required.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Metal Fitters and Machinists Trade Equivalent Qualification.
  • Forklift, EWP, Dogman, Basic Rigger, or Intermediate Rigger high-risk work license.
  • Safe working at heights ticket.
  • Medium Rigid truck license.
