Certex Lifting is seeking a highly skilled Lifting Equipment Testing Technician to join our team. As a key member of our workshop and customer site team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our lifting equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect, manufacture, repair, and test new and in-service lifting, rigging, and height safety equipment.
- Inspect, service, and install wire rope hoisting and rigging systems.
- Install height safety equipment.
- Perform general warehouse duties, including picking and packing of orders.
- A minimum of an unrestricted 'C' class license.
- Excellent computer and literacy skills.
- A demonstrated commitment to safety.
- Ability to work onsite and travel to remote sites when required.
- Metal Fitters and Machinists Trade Equivalent Qualification.
- Forklift, EWP, Dogman, Basic Rigger, or Intermediate Rigger high-risk work license.
- Safe working at heights ticket.
- Medium Rigid truck license.
