We are seeking an experienced Cloud-Native API Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will play a critical role in designing and developing scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-native APIs.

Job Description:

As a Cloud-Native API Engineer, you will be responsible for contributing to the development of our cloud-native API platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy APIs that meet the needs of our customers.

  • Design and develop scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-native APIs using industry-standard technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand customer needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Work with QA engineers to ensure that APIs are thoroughly tested and meet quality standards.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code is being written.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development, preferably in cloud-native technologies.
  • Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of API gateways and microservices architecture.
  • Strong understanding of security principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
