**Empowerment through Mentorship:**

We are seeking experienced individuals to support the development of vulnerable children and young people aged 10-17 years in Fairfield LGA. This youth mentoring program aims to empower participants by building skills and experience through one-on-one support.

**Key Responsibilities Include:**

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with mentees.
  • Support mentees in accessing services and developing healthy relationships within their community.
  • Promote resilience, self-determination, and life skills in mentees.
  • Model desirable attributes such as motivation and high self-esteem.
  • Assess safety and well-being of mentees and report concerns to the Program Coordinator.
  • Monitor and record client progress.

**Essential Qualifications:**

  • Must be 18 years or above.
  • Hold a current working with children's check.
  • Commit to working with vulnerable children for at least six months.
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccinations and a police check required.
