Electrical Linesworker

Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Linesworker to join our team. As an Electrical Linesworker, you will play a vital role in providing essential services to remote communities.

Main Responsibilities:

• Install electrical equipment associated with power supply
• Install overhead powerlines for domestic and commercial use
• Service and maintain overhead powerlines
• Respond to emergency faults and repairs
• Participate in fault finding and failure diagnosis as required
• Identify and report preventative maintenance and non-compliance items
• Conduct testing of distribution systems
• Complete necessary documentation
• Maintain knowledge of current industry standards and regulations

Requirements:

• Trade qualified in electrical work
• Licenced to perform High Risk Work
• C class driver's licence with a good driving history
• WA Electrical Licence
• Construction white card
• First aid qualifications including CPR and LVR

Benefits:

The role operates on a Drive In / Drive out roster basis from Broome to remote Aboriginal Communities in the Kimberley. Accommodation is provided when travelling for work purposes along with a generous food allowance and a fully equipped vehicle. You will also receive a daily meal allowance paid for days when travelling.
