Show Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Show Operator & Equipment Technician to join our team at Kingfisher Bay Resort on K'gari, QLD.

• Operate and maintain lighting, laser projection, sound, special effects equipment, and basic networking systems for our Illumina Light Show.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of technical and network systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with technical and creative teams to sustain the quality and consistency of the show.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, according to the show schedule.

• Proven experience operating and maintaining lighting, laser projection, sound, special effects equipment, and basic networking systems in a live event or performance setting.
• Technical knowledge of laser projection systems, including setup, alignment, and safety procedures.
• Basic understanding of networking principles, including setting up routers, switches, and troubleshooting network issues.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair technical and networking equipment efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality production standards.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
