Senior Lawyer

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced senior lawyer to join our highly successful insurance division on a full-time or part-time basis.
Main Responsibilities:- To offer a broad range of personal injury and general insurance services to a wide network of clients
- To have a demonstrated and sound knowledge of the industry, with the ability to run matters through to completion
- To be experienced in, and comfortable leading and mentoring junior lawyers
- A Bachelor of Laws or equivalent and a current practising certificate
- Minimum 5 years' post admission experience in general insurance matters, including liability claims
- Defendant insurance experience is essential
- Experience in personal injury proceedings in Queensland
- A passion for and experience in mentoring and supervising junior lawyers
- Ability to communicate effectively with experts in multiple fields
- High degree of initiative, dedication and organisation ability with a strong client and commercial focus
- A commercial approach and ability to articulate and negotiate effectively
