Senior Network Safety Lead
A key role within our client's company is available for a Senior Network Safety Lead who will oversee network safety activities and tactical asset management. This role involves developing and implementing policies and strategies to ensure regulatory compliance and effective asset management. The position acts as a key interface with regulators and internal stakeholders to maintain safety standards and manage risk within the network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enforce policies and strategies to meet regulatory safety and risk obligations.
- Maintain strong relationships with the Essential Services Commission (ESV) and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Lead the development of solutions to complex technical problems.
- Manage process improvements and new practice methods.
- Ensure timely updates and compliance with safety documentation and internal reporting.
- Mentor and support less experienced engineers.
- Implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
Success Metrics:
- Timely completion of tasks and compliance with safety regulations.
- Effective stakeholder engagement and improved relationships with regulators.
- Up-to-date safety documentation and accurate reporting of safety metrics.
- Successful support of network safety management and achievement of strategic business plans.
