Senior Cadastral Surveyor Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cadastral Surveyor to join our team at Found People Pty. As a Senior Cadastral Surveyor, you will be responsible for coordinating cadastral surveys, completing field work as required, and supervising field staff and survey plan drafting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage cadastral surveys to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Conduct field work as required, including data collection and surveying.
  • Supervise and mentor junior surveyors and field staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Review and endorse cadastral survey plans to ensure they meet industry standards and regulations.
  • Manage all office tasks associated with cadastral surveys, including data entry, report writing, and communication with clients.
  • Develop and implement quoting strategies for cadastral projects to ensure maximum profitability.
  • Manage projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the company's client base.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a surveying or engineering company.
  • Formal surveying qualifications, including a degree in surveying or a related field.
  • Current registration with the Surveyors Board of Queensland as a Registered Surveyor with eligibility for Cadastral Endorsement or already endorsed.
  • Experience using software such as 12D and/or AutoCAD, preferably in a surveying or engineering context.
  • Knowledge of Trimble Robotic Total Station (or similar) and GPS technology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
