Job Title: Art Education Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Art Education Specialist to join our vibrant community of educators.

This role will involve creating a nurturing and ordered learning environment that is learner-centred, safe, supportive, co-operative and aligned with relevant curriculum, policies and practices.

  • Develop and implement quality curriculum programs and appropriate pedagogy in collaboration with peers.
  • Assess, provide feedback and report on student learning.
  • Work with the school leadership team and colleagues to contribute to the professional life of the school.
  • Evaluate and maintain the teachings and values of the Catholic Church as a foundation for learning and teaching.

Required Skills and Qualifications

You will bring relevant qualifications and contemporary teaching experience specialising in Primary Education.

Strong literacy, numeracy and digital literacy practices, plus a clear understanding of the Australian Curriculum.

A commitment to child safety and exemplary communication and interpersonal skills.

Proven organisational skills and a commitment to engaging with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to achieve the best outcomes.

Demonstrated competence against the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers across professional knowledge, practice and engagement.
