Professional Accountant Opportunity

The primary responsibility of this position involves working collaboratively with senior team members and benefiting from a comprehensive training program to develop into a Financial Advisor.
Main Responsibilities:- Prepare individual tax returns, including business schedules and capital gains calculations.
- Compile financial statements with complete account reconciliations.
- Negotiate leasing arrangements, accounting for taxation treatment and associated schedules.
- Manage GST and FBT tax systems, completing Activity Statements and FBT returns.
- Handle employee compliance frameworks, preparing payroll tax returns.
- Understand and manage state taxes such as Land Tax and Payroll Tax, including relevant forms and notices.
- Review and respond to ATO correspondence with minimal supervision.
- Communicate with clients to resolve basic queries and matters.
- 2+ years of experience in an Accounting firm.
- Progressing towards or completed a Bachelor of Commerce (or equivalent) or CA qualification.
- A passion for teamwork within a professional environment.
- Ability to meet deadlines with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
