Our role: Consultant - Risk Transformation

At a leading advisory firm, you will support clients in managing business risks while ensuring critical information integrity.

Delivering independent risk insights drives strategic outcomes, advises on best practices in project management, and informs decision-making.

Contributing to large-scale initiatives can bring a sense of accomplishment and fulfillment.

This position is based in Canberra and offers flexible working arrangements.

Your Key Responsibilities:

- Develop comprehensive audit plans, assess internal controls, and address compliance risks for internal audit engagements.
- Advise clients on understanding and managing business risks, validating critical information, and staying informed on emerging trends for relevant assurance insights.
- Build strong relationships by meeting service expectations and contributing positively to team discussions with energy, fresh ideas, and a collaborative mindset.

Skills and Attributes for Success:

We seek an experienced Consultant with a background in risk transformation for our multi-year program of work. You'll contribute to day-to-day execution of individual assurance reviews across various topics.

- A degree in business, project management, accounting, or a related field, along with professional certifications like CA, CIA, PRINCE2, P3M3, or other project assurance, governance, or risk-related accreditations.

- Prior experience in risk management, internal audit, risk transformation, policy review, or program/project management, along with a good understanding of project methodologies and best practices.

- Strong report writing skills and clear communication of findings and recommendations.
