Aon's Reinsurance Solutions business is seeking a seasoned Reinsurance Strategist to support the management of complex reinsurance transactions and foster strong relationships with clients and underwriters locally and globally.

This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to orchestrate the strategy and placement of reinsurance programmes, negotiate terms, and ensure optimal coverage for clients.

About This Opportunity
  • Manage complex reinsurance transactions from start to finish, collaborating closely with clients to understand their risk management needs and objectives.
  • Work across departments to ensure solutions meet client objectives and are aligned with market appetite.
  • Develop and present comprehensive reinsurance proposals to clients, highlighting innovative solutions and value-added services.
  • Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with reinsurance underwriters to secure optimal coverage for clients.
  • Oversee the placement process and ensure timely execution of reinsurance transactions, ensuring seamless client experience.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in reinsurance broking, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex transactions.
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills, including report writing and tender preparation.
  • Strong technical knowledge of reinsurance principles, products, and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills, including balance sheet analysis and client research capabilities.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
