The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Heavy Diesel Lead Technician to join our team and take on a leadership role. You will be responsible for leading a team of technicians in the maintenance and optimisation of our heavy earthmoving fleet, as well as providing support to our rental fleet and working with customers and stakeholders to meet organisational objectives.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 10 – 15 people on day and night shift
  • Ongoing maintenance and optimisation of Emeco's heavy earthmoving fleet
  • Providing support to the Emeco rental fleet as required
  • Working safely and adhering to relevant HSE policy and procedures to minimise the risk of injury to yourself and others.
  • Ensuring all maintenance and optimisation targets are met on time and within budget.
  • Working with Emeco customers and stakeholders to meet larger organisational objectives.

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Managing a team of technicians to ensure maintenance and optimisation targets are met
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance to team members
  • Developing and implementing maintenance plans to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Collaborating with other teams to ensure seamless operations
