Highly Experienced Clinical Coding Specialist Wanted

Job Description:
">As a key member of our Health Information team, we are seeking an experienced Clinical Coding Manager to join us in delivering high-quality clinical coding services. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the coding team, ensuring accurate and timely completion of clinical coding tasks.
">Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive coding audits to identify areas of improvement and implement strategies to enhance coding accuracy.">
- Lead and provide ongoing coding education to support team growth and professional development.">
- Prepare and deliver education and training activities to the coding team.">
- Educate clinicians on clinical documentation improvement, DRG and activity-based funding.">
Requirements:
">The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Health Information Management (or equivalent tertiary qualification) or Clinical Coding qualification, with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in abstracting and coding across a wide case mix in a private or public health facility.
">They will also possess sound knowledge of Australian and NSW Coding Standards, as well as experience in developing, designing, and implementing training programs for coders and clinical documentation improvement recommendations.
