Opportunity for a Registered Midwife

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Registered Midwife to join our team at Newcastle Private Hospital. As a key member of our maternity care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to women and their families throughout the various stages of pregnancy, childbirth, and postnatal care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality antenatal and postnatal care to women and their families
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Develop and implement individualized patient-centered care plans
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

Requirements:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife
  • Minimum of 2 years' relevant post-registration experience
  • Demonstrated experience in antenatal and postnatal midwifery services
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
