We are seeking a motivated and skilled Apprentice Panel Beater to join our team at Transdev John Holland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining the Transdev John Holland Bus fleet.

About the Role:

As an Apprentice Panel Beater, you will assist qualified tradespeople in constructing and repairing metal bus bodies and trailers. You will also be responsible for accident repair and fleet refurbishment, ensuring that our buses are safe and reliable for our passengers.

You will work closely with our experienced team to identify, report, and repair vehicle defects, and ensure that our buses meet the highest standards of presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist qualified tradespeople in constructing and repairing metal bus bodies and trailers
  • Perform accident repair and fleet refurbishment
  • Identify, report, and repair vehicle defects
  • Ensure bus presentation meets vehicle presentation standards
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Some proven hands-on automotive or mechanical experience
  • A current NSW drivers licence (Ps accepted) and be willing to upgrade to HR drivers licence if required
  • Commitment to a 4-year apprenticeship opportunity
  • Computer literacy with the ability to record accurate maintenance information
