Teaching Science Position

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic teacher to join our school in Dubbo.

]

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Science to students in Years 7-12, developing and implementing quality curriculum programs, creating a learner-centred environment and using inclusive teaching strategies.

]

The Role:

  • Develop and implement engaging curriculum programs aligned with the Science curriculum.
  • Create a supportive learning environment that caters to diverse learners.
  • Analyse student assessment data to identify learning barriers and develop targeted improvement plans.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance student outcomes and contribute to school life.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support student supervision and extracurricular activities.
]

Required Skills and Qualifications:

]
  • Experience in teaching Science across various year levels.
  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications and accreditation to teach in NSW.
  • Ability to teach Science Chemistry and Physics, differentiate learning and develop positive relationships.
  • Strong classroom management skills, excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience using technology to inform, track and report student learning.
