About the Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Pastry Chef and Menu Planner to join our team at Bambino's Kindergarten Harrington Park. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality, nutritious meals and snacks for up to children daily.

About the Centre:

Our children enjoy delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest technology and learning resources, and a range of activities. At capacity, our centre caters for up to 64 children with operating hours from 7am - 6pm. Our menus meet nutritional guidelines and are high-quality, allowing young bodies to thrive both mentally and physically.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have experience in menu planning, budgeting, stock ordering and control, as well as ensuring a clean and safe kitchen environment in accordance with relevant Food Safety regulations. They will also be a team player with great communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an ACECQA approved Early Childhood qualification and experience in a cook role
  • Current Working with Children's Check and First Aid
  • Completed or willing to complete Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
