Senior Clinician Role: Mental Health Leadership and Management

This is an exciting opportunity to further develop your mental health leadership and management skills and experience as a senior clinician in mental health community and inpatient areas with demonstrated ability to work with diverse and complex clinical presentations.

  • Provide clinical leadership and coordination of mental health services across various sites.
  • Assist in managing patient access and bed flow, support incident management, manage staffing issues and support clinical areas including emergency departments, inpatient units, and bed-based sub-acute facilities over 24 hours, 7 days a week.

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to exercise sound judgement across ethical, clinical, and management issues.
  • Current nursing or midwifery registration with the relevant authority in the state of Victoria.
  • Post Graduate qualifications in Mental Health.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience.
  • A strong commitment to high quality care.
  • Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) or similar healthcare software.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high patient volumes.
