About the Role

We are seeking skilled Light and Heavy Vehicle Mechanics and/or Aircraft Mechanics to join our expanding team at our Component Rebuild Centre (CRC) in Tomago. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for the assembly and disassembly of engines, powertrains, and final drives from a variety of CAT machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the assembly and disassembly of engines, powertrains, and final drives.
  • Contribute to maintenance tasks and servicing procedures.
  • Ensure a safe work environment, prioritise customer satisfaction, and maintain high technician productivity.
  • Work effectively within a high-performing team to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
Requirements
  • Trade Qualifications in Light/Heavy Vehicle, and/or Aircraft Mechanics is advantageous.
  • A strong interest in mechanical systems and/or the willingness to learn.
  • Experience using hand tools for repair and assembly work.
  • Ability to follow procedures and scopes of work.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safe working practices.
  • Familiarity with component change-outs and engine assembly is advantageous.
  • Collaborative and able to work well within a team.
