Job Title: Maintenance Officer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Officer to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the building, plant, equipment, fixtures and fittings throughout the hotel to the required standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address any safety issues or maintenance requirements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests and residents, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, air conditioning service and repairs, pool maintenance, and servicing of plant and equipment.
  • Ensure all painted areas are maintained and in good order, and perform other maintenance-related tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Relevant building maintenance experience is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or the ability to demonstrate the skills required to be successful in this role.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly responsible and reliable, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
