Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Civil Engineers to join our team at North Projects, a specialist advisor and consultancy to civil infrastructure and construction projects nationally.

About Us

We deliver successful project outcomes by managing cost, scope, risk, feasibility, and programme. Our advice is balanced and provides a whole of project perspective.

Our clients include State governments entities, local councils, contractors, builders, and developers.

We have an impressive pipeline of work within our South Australian region and are looking for Site Engineers, Project Engineers, and Client-side Project Managers to work across various infrastructure projects.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of critical state and national infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage design development of complex infrastructure projects
  • Manage construction phase activities to ensure high-quality outcomes
  • Assist with delivery and construction strategies
  • Coordinate and manage specialist engineering, construction, and commercial consultants
  • Develop core project management skills such as cost management, quality assurance, reporting, and preparation of monthly progress claims and cash flow projections
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a civil engineer working across Australian transport or water projects
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Forecasting and cost control experience in a commercial environment is advantageous
  • Delivery with Tier 1, 2, 3 experience is highly desirable
